Communal printers restock

  1. The Warehouse and Inventory Control Technician will be (WICT) responsible for restocking the communal printers at Santa Anita Suite 100.
  2. Paper is stored in room 54 underneath the receiving worktops.
  3. It is standard operating procedure that the WICT will periodically check and restock the printers during their work day.

Maintenance of communal printers

  1. The WICT will be responsible for continuous operation of the communal printers and maintenance of the toner cartridges.  Toner is auto ordered by the printer.
  2. When there are issues reported, the WICT will have to work through the troubleshooting steps indicated on the printer, or replace the toner.
  3. The printer will generally display instructions that the WICT will walk through, step-by-step, the process to troubleshoot whatever issue the printer is having.
  4. Once the WICT has walked through the troubleshooting steps, if the problem cannot be fixed, the WICT will call YCOE's service provider indicated on the printer for either the next troubleshooting steps, or to dispatch a service technician at a last resort.
  5. When the WICT has the issue successfully resolved, the WICT will send an informative email to the Santa Anita office group, with a notification that the issue was resolved.
